OLT (Oversight Leadership Team)

The OLT has overall accountability for the leadership of the church in line with the Statement of Faith and the vision. As Elders, the main areas of oversight are to maintain and develop:

• Our core beliefs and spiritual direction (Theology oversight)
• Spiritual health and growth (Discipleship oversight)
• Spiritual care and protection (Pastoral oversight and enabling)
• Missional health and kingdom impact (Missional oversight)

Trustees

Hope Church is set up as a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) and as part of our replanting activities and focus for 2023 we are moving financial and resource governance towards a biblical Stewardship model. A new role profile has been written for Trustees and we are in the process of appointing a new Head of Trustees who will build a new Trustee team.  We have also strengthened the conditions of church membership towards a firmer commitment to attend, serve, give and grow. The overall responsibilities of our Trustees cover the following areas:

• Fulfilling statutory obligations of the CIO and Charity Commission
• Financial health and management
• Employment
• Legal
• Reporting
• Compliance and risk
